Warewolf’s customer returns process enables warehouse teams to receive goods being returned by customers and to create associated sales credits for customer refund. In doing so, Warewolf links a return with the originating sales order, ensures that no more goods are credited than were on the sales order and captures reasons why customers have returned the goods.
The workflow is:
- Create a new delivery
- Select the warehouse
- Select ‘create a return’
- Find the original sales order
- Scan the items being returned
Create a return
From the deliveries screen, click ‘create a return’.
Next, search for the originating sales order, select the matching sales order and continue.
In the returns screen, select the quantities of each item being returned, the reason for the return and the location to receive the stock into. Click ‘continue
Select an order status and add information to the custom fields where relevant in your workflow.
Finally, click ‘create’, Warewolf will create the return’s sales credit in the channel.
